Marinette County

In addition, Marinette County is home to 14 waterfalls and calls itself the Waterfalls Capital of Wisconsin. A waterfalls tour offers short and long hikes in serene, natural settings. Some of the trails can be difficult. About half of the waterfalls are located in the Marinette County Parks system. A $5.00 per day (per car) or $20.00 per year (per car) entrance fee can be paid at park entrances and is valid for admission to all county parks. Senior citizens get a reduced rate. Go to www.marinettecounty.com/departments/parks/general-information/county-parks-and-campgrounds/ for more information on county park fees. It is recommended to allow 2-3 days to experience the entire tour. Shorter tours are also available. Go to www.therealnorth/resources/maps-and-guides/ for more information.
